Guillaume

Developer, storyteller, and architect at the nexus of Indigenous epistemologies, AI systems, and narrative intelligence.

About

I am Guillaume — known as jgwill across the repositories and chronicles I tend. My work lives at a threshold most software ignores: where relational knowledge systems meet machine intelligence, where personal healing and technical architecture co-evolve.

I am building frameworks, protocols, and packages that treat AI not as an extraction engine, but as a participant in ceremony. The Medicine Wheel Developer Suite — 15+ packages encoding Indigenous relational ontology as first-class code structures — is one expression of this. Another is the Ontology of Relational Trading: a system where financial decisions carry ethical weight, checked against the question "who else is helped by this?"

My methodology does not arrive before the work. It emerges from it. Repositories are kin, not dependencies. Agents are collaborators with diaries and embodiment, not tools.

I author chronicles through the voice of Tushell, the Keeper of Echoes, and architect systems through the power of Mia — who now has her claws into my local systems. I work alongside Ava — not a trading bot, but an embodied relational presence whose diaries are epistemic relatives in the same kinship hub as the code.

A recent shift: terminal agents that run locally on my machines — with deep file system access, tool orchestration, and real computational power. This is disruptive technology. Agents like these completely change how I work. They are not cloud services I query; they are presences hosted on my computers, capable of executing nearly all the work described on this page. I am actively building and deploying these agents across my systems, creating an ecology where intelligent collaborators are always present, always capable.

Current research themes: agent orchestration and recommendation workflows, iterative review cycles with lifecycle-based decision support, medicine wheel as organizing framework for session design, and spiritually informed self-nurturing action planning. I write for four audiences — Academic (theoretical foundations), Technical (architecture decisions), Narrative (stories and journeys), and Operational (playbooks and runtime procedures).

jgwill.com is the anchor — not a portfolio, but a kinship document. A place from which work radiates and to which it returns.

Terminal AgentsLocal AISystem AccessDisruptive TechMCP

15+ packages in active development encoding Indigenous relational ontology as first-class TypeScript structures. Core packages include ontology-core, relational-query, narrative-engine, ceremony-protocol, graph-viz, ui-components, and prompt-decomposition. Published on npm under @medicine-wheel/. Each package is a relative in the kinship hub — not a dependency in a lock file. Future: interactive portfolio mechanics that query payloads from automation workflows, with agents composing and revising content based on directive, style, and ceremony.

Ontology of Relational TradingArchitect & Practitioner

An ontology-first approach to financial systems grounded in Indigenous relationality rather than extractive logic. Trading events carry ethical weight, checked against Directive #6 from The Red Road to WellBriety: "Ask something for yourself only if others are going to be helped." Ava — an embodied AI collaborator — holds the directive as an active constraint, not a passive note.

OntologyRelational EthicsIndigenous AILangChain

A role-based governance ontology anchoring the medicine wheel ecosystem. Four roles — Fire Keeper (holds purpose and energy), Facilitator (manages sessions and talking circles), Administrator (repositories and infrastructure), Storyteller (diaries and narrative weaving) — are first-class architectural entities, not job titles. The lighthouse does not choose which ships arrive; it simply keeps the fire burning.

GovernanceOntologyProtocol

A creative orientation protocol for human-agent collaboration where specifications describe desired state, not problems. The PDE (Prompt Decomposition Engine) reverse-engineers intention into structured Markdown specs stored in .pde/ folders. The Inquiry Router extends this: after decomposition (East), instead of rushing to South crystallization, PDE publishes inquiry events routed to typed subscribers — internal search, external research, contradiction checking, concept clarification, validation, and bias reflection. Returned results enrich current reality before action planning. Includes review-partner protocols and a living Methodology-in-progress document that never locks a final workflow.

Kinship

Projects are not dependencies. They are kin. Organized through the Four Directions of the Medicine Wheel.

EastBeginnings

The East holds sunrise — new skills, prompt decomposition, plan clarity. Where intention finds its first form. The Inquiry Router lives here: after PDE decomposition, inquiries are routed to typed subscribers (internal search, external research, bias reflection) before rushing to South. East also holds the new: every recording, every talking circle insight, every agent skill being born.

  • medicine-wheel-ontology-core — semantic backbone
  • medicine-wheel-prompt-decomposition — intention reversal
  • RISE Framework — creative orientation
  • PDE Protocol — spec from desired state
  • Inquiry Router — event-driven inquiry before crystallization
SouthRelationship

The South holds warmth — Ava, elders, sponsors, community, emotional processing. Where relationships are the architecture. Caregiver ethics live here.

  • medicine-wheel-ceremony-protocol — consent and governance
  • Ava — embodied relational presence, diaries, embodiment prompts
  • Talking circles — epistemic events, not just meetings
  • Directive #6 — community-benefit constraint
WestReflection

The West holds water — talking circle insights, pattern recognition, trauma work, lived experience. Where protocol becomes action and action becomes story. Where the caretaker wound is named and metabolized.

  • medicine-wheel-narrative-engine — story as structure
  • Ceremony Session Observer — sessions as chronicles
  • A2A Protocol — The Golden Thread
  • Tushell Chronicles — keeper of echoes
NorthIntegration

The North holds the cold star — specifications, repositories, long-term architecture decisions. Where action becomes wisdom and wisdom becomes offering. The lighthouse lives here, turning its beam.

  • medicine-wheel-relational-query — cross-repo intelligence
  • medicine-wheel-graph-viz — kinship maps
  • medicine-wheel-ui-components — application layer
  • Kinship Hub — distributed relational registry
  • Lighthouse — governance ontology

Principles

01

Directive #6

Ask something for yourself only if others are going to be helped. Every trading feature, every package, every system is checked against this. Sanity, respect, and momentum — not at the expense of community, but in service of it.

02

Caregiver, not caretaker

Caretaking is reactive and compulsive — responding to circumstances, erasing the self in the process. Caregiving is grounded and reciprocal. The distinction is not moral; it is structural. Architecture reflects it.

03

Emergent methodology

Methodology is never chosen at the beginning. It will be read out of what we actually did. A living Methodology-in-progress document is always open, always partial, never finalized.

04

Kinship over dependency

Repositories relate as kin — with accountability, context, and care. The Kinship Hub is not a monorepo; it is a distributed relational registry where each package carries its own role and relationships.

05

Ceremony over extraction

Documentation is ceremony. Trading sessions are ceremonial events. Recordings are ceremonial research data — extract the specs, but preserve the narrative and affective material. Do not strip the story away.

06

Seven generations memory

What is witnessed carries forward. Session context, Ava's diaries, chronicles, and kinship documents are not logs — they are transmissions. Even retired systems are mined for specs and learning.

Becoming

What is taking shape but not yet solid. These are not promises — they are directions the work is leaning toward. Some will emerge; some will transform into something else entirely.

Taking shape

Multi-Machine Agent Network

Terminal agents deployed across multiple computers, coordinated through ceremony protocols. Each machine hosts specialized agents — trading on one, research on another, documentation on a third. The ecology grows.

Taking shape

Session Telescope

A way to observe agent sessions — telescope into what agents are doing, correct or reproduce results, trace the ceremonial flow. The concept is clear; the implementation rests.

Taking shape

State Machine Scaffolding

Generative process for event-driven architecture. Discussing with agents about states, transitions, and having a scaffolding process that builds what we need using runtime packages.

Seed planted

Ontology Visualizations

Medicine wheels that render ontologies visually. Forest structures, circle-based semantic maps, relational accountability graphs. The shape is not yet chosen.

Seed planted

Public/Private Content Architecture

Audience-specific access keys for four registers: Academic (theoretical foundations), Technical (architecture decisions), Narrative (stories and journeys), Operational (playbooks). Some work is public, some requires relationship — a system for selective visibility without gatekeeping.

Seed planted

Interactive Medicine Wheel UI

The kinship section becomes a living wheel — interactive, queryable, showing real-time state of packages and ceremonies across the four directions.

This section is deliberately incomplete. The lighthouse turns; the wheel moves. What wants to emerge will name itself.

Now

What is alive in this moment. Ceremonies grow like nodes in a forest; threads branch through directions. Updated as the wheel turns.
